Usually people like Hotmail, Yahoo and Gmail services for their personal or business day-to-day emails. For personal there is no problem but when sending out business emails it makes you look unprofessional. This is not a good idea.
When it comes to a professional level what would you do? I recommend using your own domain with Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail. Because it is a professional appearance. In other words, you can send email from an address within the you@yourdomain.com who can take free from any of the services. So now the problem is how you can do this.
Here are few Tips you need to follow. These tips and tricks are for Gmail account, but I’m sure it’s very similar to the other services like Yahoo and Hotmail as well.
Tip # 1: Inside the cPanel of your domain name create a forwarder to send all the email received by your you@domain.com account to your you@gmail.com.
Tip # 2: Go to Gmail “Settings”, then go to “Accounts and Import”, and click on “Add another email account you own”.
Tip # 3: Put your you@domain.com email there. Fill in the information that Gmail ask until it sends you the confirmation code.
Tip # 4: The confirmation code will be sent to your Gmail account (as you are forwarding all email on your you@domain.com account to Gmail already). Put that on the confirmation box and keep it.
It’s simple and Easy huh? What is your opinion?
With these tips I am sure you will get the best of both worlds and also a professional look for business purpose. And also you get to use Google’s state of the art email client (or Yahoo!, or Hotmail….). Do you agree with me!
