Adobe Acrobat XI (version 11.0) was announced on October 1, 2012.[36] The graphical user interface for desktop systems is carried over from version 10. Some new features include a completely redesigned PDF editing experience, exporting PDF files to Microsoft PowerPoint, touch-friendly capabilities for mobile devices, and integrated cloud services. Acrobat XI was released to the market on October 15, 2012.
Adobe Acrobat XI is currently available for Microsoft Windows (XP/7/8) and Apple OS X (10.6/10.7/10.8)
Windows XP is supported by this version, but Windows Vista is not supported, despite having been released 6 years more recently than Windows XP. This decision not to support Windows Vista is further of note because Microsoft will support Windows Vista until 2017, but unless Adobe changes its decision, there will be no Adobe Acrobat version supported for Windows Vista after Adobe Acrobat X reaches its end of life in 2015. Meanwhile, Microsoft ends support of Windows XP in 2014, but Adobe Acrobat XI will not reach its end of life until 2017.
